Recipe of a journey
Many people work in the same industry and even the same company all their working life, I’ve been blessed to have three careers. First, helping to save lives (paramedic), next helping others to save lives with AEDs and cardiac monitors, and finally my pivot to culinary school to learn how to put smiles on peoples faces and give joy through food.
I moved to Santa Fe to start my journey and continue learning under Sllin Cruz, Ruben Tanuz, and Bruce Ross at The Club at Las Campanas. Next a grand opportuntiy as Assistant Pastry Chef at The Four Seasons Rancho Encantado.
Finally, enter Chef Mary’s Gourmet Granola! I spent almost 10 years as the Pastry Chef at Izanami at Ten Thousand Waves. One of the amenities we offered lodgers at TTW was my granola. Guests always wanted more and wanted the recipe.
So now with the advent of The Kitchen Table Santa Fe, a shared commercial kitchen space (and more) I’m bringing my “best I’ve ever tasted” granola to the masses and putting my name on it. Enjoy!
When I’m not in the kitchen creating food to make people happy…family, food, and football!
